DC snow removal?

Alternate title: Traffic According to JErb

A week or more after the snow stopped sticking here in DC, road crews still haven't cleared the road to the shoulder on the block next to the White House -- 17th St NW, a major commuting artery (EEOB directly to the right off-camera). Constituton Ave, another road of substantial ingress/egress is lacking a lane in either direction. Commutes have been horrible -- not that VA inbound/outbound routes are bad (the roads we use are great), but what do you do when navigable road "space" is still drastically reduced and you're dumping commuter traffic into the District with nowhere to go? That's when the inbound roads back up for no reason they can see...

[Aside: I was checking traffic this past Monday because I had to go into Georgetown for class from VA instead of from work, and WTOP reported in the late afternoon that outbound *Key Bridge* traffic was delayed or closed due to snow removal. What? We haven't gotten snow off the bridges yet?]

I know DC plows were reported to be at 25% reduced capacity due to maintenance and other issues...

But really folks. Bad commutes are going to be a whole lot worse until the snow removal teams get their acts together - or spring comes - whichever comes first.
